In the third instalment of the hugely popular High School Musical series Troy (Efron), Gabriella (Hudgens) and their friends at East High are seniors and have to deal in their own way with the prospect of saying goodbye to one another after graduation. There are tears, laughter - and an elaborate spring musical, of course. Troy is torn between his love of basketball and the stage, while Gabriella fears her plans to study law will separate her from Troy.
This is the last movie in the franchise starring the original cast - HSM4 will introduce new characters. This time the actors do a much better job than before, eye-popping choreography and catchy tunes will appeal to younger viewers and parents can rest easy that it’s all good, clean fun. But if you need a little more depth to your storyline steer clear.
