There’s something for everyone here. Listen to local rockers The Parlotones on I’m Only Human, Zebra & Giraffe belting out Oxymoron and What Have I Become? from One Day Remains. We also loved Secondhand Serenade’s Fall for You and Nickelback’s Gotta Be Somebody. Seether kicks off with the catchy Breakdown. A great collection.
TRUE BLOOD SOUNDTRACK by various artists

The soundtrack to the Golden Globe-winning TV series reflects more adult themes than the vampire story Twilight, especially in the darkly disturbing opening credit song Bad Things by Jace Everett. Another good song is Dr John’s I Don’t Wanna Know. The rest of the album has a strong country vibe but listen to it with an open mind.
I’M OK, YOU’RE OK by Gonzo Republic

Gonzo Republic give you solid rock with a good shot of melancholic melody on their first album. Lead singer Clayton Human varies her vocal performance with every song. For once the guitars on a local band’s debut album don’t overpower everything else. Nothing to Fight About has reached the top of the charts and it’s not even the best song on the album.
