WHO WILL ENJOY IT?
Charlize Theron fans should immediately get their wallets out and buy a ticket. This blonde bombshell knows how to act! She also produced this intense, dark drama about parents destroying their children’s lives and consciences that burn like fire. Be warned: it’s a complicated script with three separate storylines developing simultaneously before merging, so you’d better pay attention if you want to keep up - but in the end it’s a satisfying watch. And Charlize reveals more than she usually does!
WAIT FOR DVD?
Yes you can, because this is the kind of drama that’s not necessarily better on the big screen. It explores old sins that haunt people for generations until they finally work through them and confess their secrets. It’s also about love and self-punishment. How long can you blame yourself and destroy lives before you start to make peace with yourself? Recommended as an intense, human drama. And Charlize is brilliant.
