The second solo album of High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu (Chad) is an infusion of electropop, rock and R&B. Corbin capitalises on his teen hunk status and the songs, mostly about love, have a teen angst to them. As he’s a Disney star the album - like his image - is squeaky clean. There are no explicit lyrics warning labels and the first single, Moments That Matter, is one of the catchiest R&B tracks we’ve heard.

Chris has gone in a different direction on his third solo album. There are no grungy guitar sounds here and he has said goodbye to the rock sounds we expect from him. Working with Timbaland has seen him move closer to the producer’s signature hip-hop sound. Best songs are Part of Me, Take Me Alive and title track Scream. Rock purists will probably not enjoy it though.

After listening to the first few singles Keri released we expected a unique, mindblowing debut album but instead got this average release. She sounds like Beyoncé on a few of the tracks and a carbon copy of Cassie on Alienated. But we love the amazing beats and the production is excellent. Best songs include Turnin’ Me On featuring Lil Wayne, How Does it Feel and Energy.

Mixed by DJ Dizzy, the 30 dance tracks offer the latest remixes of popular radio hits. Dizzy has taken commercial pop, rock, R&B and hip-hop tracks and given them a doof-doof once-over with varying results. There’s plenty to dance to such as remixes of Katy Perry’s Hot N Cold, Rihanna’s Disturbia, Pink’s So What and Lady GaGa’s Poker Face. Perfect for parties!
