The hit series Heroes returns to our screens on 9 October and we couldn’t be more excited! Hey YOU takes a peek at where the heroes are four months after the gripping events at Kirby Plaza.
Although we won’t reveal the plot we can tell you the heroes survived the events of season one’s finale and at the start of the second season they’re trying to return to ordinary life. But this is impossible with their superhuman powers. You’ll discover more about the Company and its research on the Shanti virus when the founders’ identities are revealed. Expect this season to be packed with adventures, twists and drama as the heroes reunite to stop the release of a deadly strain of the virus and save the world.
NEW HEROES
- Maya and Alejandro Herrera are a brother and sister on the run because of Maya’s deadly power. Maya is played by Dania Ramirez (28) who can also be seen in the movies She Hate Me, X-Men: The Last Stand, Prom Night and a few episodes of The Sopranos TV series. She has also appeared in several music videos including Jay-Z’s Streets Is Watching and LL Cool J’s Hush.
Alejandro is played by Shalim Ortiz (29), a model and actor who appeared in The Lizzie McGuire Show alongside Hilary Duff. His role as Alejandro is his first big TV part.
- Monica Dawson, played by actress Dana Davis (24), is the niece of DL Hawkins (played by Leonard Roberts) and Micah Sanders’ cousin (played by Noah Gray-Cabey). She has the ability to mimic any physical motion she sees. Dana’s movie credits include Raise Your Voice and Coach Carter.
- Hiro’s hero, Takezo Kensei, played by David Anders (27). David is best known for his role as Julian Sark in Alias. He’s American but both these roles require him to use a British accent.
- Baddie Elle Bishop, played by Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell (28), makes a big impact in the eighth episode of the second season. Her power? She can generate and manipulate electricity! We sure wouldn’t mind having that ability. Kristen has been busy lately - she’s working on various movies and is also the narrator of the series Gossip Girl.
